About the Role:

Fine Tutors Ladbroke Grove is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Tutor to join our team. As an Academic Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lesson plans for science subjects to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  2. Teach scientific concepts and principles using a variety of instructional methods, including technology and multimedia resources
  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
  4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on assignments and exams
  5. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities

Requirements:

  1. 8 in GCSE science
  2. Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, principles, and theories
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
  5. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Working Arrangements:

  • Part-time position
  • £7.00-£10.00 per hour
  • 2 – 8 hours per week
  • Weekends only

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (required)
