Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate to support the development and delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects. As a Graduate in our Development team, you will play a key role in leading individual tasks and supporting senior team members in other tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of renewable energy projects from initial site feasibility reviews to successful planning consents and optimal grid connection offers.
  • Undertake site development activities, including grid applications and engineering activities, and manage contractors and consultants in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning Applications.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to identify suitable renewable energy project opportunities and undertake the required grid connection, land agreement, and planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and grid operators.
  • Contribute to the development of project financial models and provide commercial insights to support project decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in the renewable energy project development industry, preferably supporting the development of solar PV, battery storage, and onshore wind projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management and project economics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into commercial impact.
  • Ability to manage several project tasks at once and prioritize project workload.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate project issues and propose creative solutions.
