Role Overview: This position is ideal for a finance expert with extensive experience in the automotive industry, prepared to manage and improve the financial functions across various dealership sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Develop, oversee, and manage regional dealership budgets and financial projections.
- Maintain precise and current accounting records for multiple dealership sites.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Analyze expenses and financial performance to uncover potential cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Supervise inventory accounting and valuation, focusing on stock levels and asset depreciation.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Assist with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Offer financial insights and recommendations to dealership management for informed strategic decision-making.
- Utilize financial software and systems to produce reports and analyze financial data effectively.
- Collaborate closely with dealership managers and other financial professionals to align financial strategies with operational objectives.
Compensation: Competitive salary of £60,000 plus a £6,000 bonus and a company vehicle.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
