About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Lead Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the next generation of avionic mission computing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of projects from initial planning through delivery and transfer to manufacturing and integration.
- Manage a team of engineers to achieve product quality and technical scope within cost and schedule constraints.
- Ensure a through-life perspective is taken in the development and management of systems, equipment, people, and process.
- Elicit the latest requirements from customers and overcome engineering challenges.
- Apply focus to maintain and improve system performance and delivery.
Requirements
- A good understanding of the challenges associated with avionic system engineering.
- Demonstrable leadership competence with an ability to influence individuals.
- Demonstrable breadth and depth of experience/competence across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Able to think at the systems level and innovate.
- High levels of motivation, integrity, and professionalism.
- Flexibility, innovation, and commitment to delivery.
What We Offer
- A starting salary of between £62,400 - £78,000.
