We are Active Care Group, a leading provider of complex care, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live In Support Worker to join our team in West Hampstead.

About the Role:

As a Live In Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to a client with a spinal cord injury, enabling them to live independently in their own home and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as domestic tasks and social activities.
  • Support the client in their daily routine, including swimming, which is supported by a secondary agency.
  • Work on a rolling rota, with assignments typically 2 weeks long, to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a commitment to working regularly each month to ensure continuity of care.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to hold conversations with clients and their families.
  • Interest in sports and being active, with the ability to share this with the client.
  • Ability to pick up skills and tasks quickly, with a willingness to use initiative and problem-solve.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £805 per week, or £115 per day, on a zero-hour contract.
  • Potential for regular consistent work with set rolling rotas, with a minimum of 2 weeks on.

  • A Refer a Friend Scheme, with the potential to earn up to £1500 by recommending someone you know.
