About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Improvement Manager to join our team on a 3 months fixed term / secondment contract with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent (subject to permanent roles being available).

The Claims Service Improvement Team operates within a continuous improvement environment by developing, maintaining, and improving operational processes, systems and procedures using established service improvement methodologies. This often requires the team members' engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, planning solutions, carrying out impact assessments, and developing new protocols and best practice guidance to support the change.

The team is also responsible for ensuring that the claims procedure manual, a day-to-day guide for the Claims function, and any associated process maps and template letters, remain up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, devise plans, and execute new protocols and processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the claims function.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and risk identification, while also providing support to mitigate any potential leaks.
  • Collaborate with a team of Senior Service Improvement Managers and report directly to the Service Improvement Team Leader.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable service improvement and change management experience.
  • An understanding of working within a claims management environment and knowledge of clinical negligence and/or personal injury claims would be of benefit.
  • Attention to detail and enthusiasm for data quality, service improvement, and integrity are essential.
