Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead
Job Summary:
The Alcohol Harm Reduction Lead will work closely with our Housing and Support Officers to provide expert advice and guidance to staff and direct interventions to improve outcomes for our clients who are drinking alcohol at harmful levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, providing person-centred, non-judgmental support and guidance.
- Develop and deliver a range of services, treatments, and interventions to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their well-being.
- Work closely with key workers and teams to support timely and effective strengths-based assessments and co-produced recovery support plans.
- Monitor and review the delivery of support plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Participate in the existing rota to provide support for clients across Transform's services.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.
- Awareness of issues faced by individuals experiencing drug and alcohol-related problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor the message to the audience.
- Ability to work in a person-centred, non-judgmental manner, delivering services and interventions that meet the needs of clients.
- Valid driving license and own car insured for business use.
