About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced care worker or someone who is eager to start a career in care to provide high-quality support and care to our customers. As a Support Worker, you will become part of a fantastic team, working together to make a positive impact on the lives of people with a disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes, to promote independence and well-being.
- Escort and assist customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging customers to achieve their individual aspirations and goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We Offer:
Leonard Cheshire offers an excellent training and induction programme for all new staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and support. We also offer a competitive rate of pay, with an enhancement of £1 per hour for hours worked between 10pm and 7am, Monday to Friday, and weekend days from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with a caring and compassionate nature, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. A background in care or a related field is desirable, but not essential. We offer an excellent opportunity for career development and growth, as well as the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
