About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Colleague in our Hoddesdon Burford St Express store. As a Colleague, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Availability Window

We require our Colleagues to be available to work during the following times:

Monday: 15:00 - 23:00

Friday: 15:00 - 23:00

Saturday: 15:00 - 23:00

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting from £12.02 per hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. Additionally, you will receive a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if desired.

Your Responsibilities

As a Colleague, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers
  • Working across the store in various areas, including service, picking, and replenishment
  • Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere
  • Being knowledgeable about store performance and contributing to driving sales and service
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition
  • Representing Tesco as a brand ambassador and embodying our values
