Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in Intensive Care and will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anaesthetic care to patients in the operating theatres and intensive care unit
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in educational and research activities to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- Eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia
- Experience in Intensive Care and Critical Care Medicine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
