Consultant Anaesthetist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our anaesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures
  • Developing and implementing anaesthetic services to meet the needs of our patients
  • Contributing to the education and training of junior staff members
  • Participating in on-call rotas and providing out-of-hours cover

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia
  • Experience in anaesthetic care, particularly in intensive care and obstetrics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
