Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer OUTSIDE IR35

Employment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in the Nuclear industry. This exciting role involves leading the development of innovative designs for major projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Ensure designs conform to British and European standards and meet client requirements.
  • Lead a small team of design engineers or work independently, as required.
  • Produce design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
  • Manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Passion for engineering excellence.
  • Nuclear or Defence background essential.
