Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of SME and personal tax clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns in compliance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Oversee bookkeeping and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should be part or fully qualified (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACA), Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), or similar) with proven experience of working in a UK practice accounting environment. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, and UK tax legislation, and proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and BrightPay are essential.
