About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating environment that promotes the wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement imaginative and engaging activities programmes that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and staff to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of activities and services
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programmes and make recommendations for improvement
About You

We are looking for someone who is warm, empathetic, and personable, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be a creative problem-solver, able to think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas to engage our residents. If you have experience in a similar role, that's a bonus, but we are happy to provide training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed with us.
