About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join a reputable contractor specializing in the restoration and conservation of heritage and listed buildings. The company has a strong reputation in the industry and a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee a range of projects, typically valued between £50,000 and £3 million, including:
  • Restoration of intricate stonework and replacement of handmade bricks.
  • Installation of new slate roofs and external joinery.
  • Cleaning and maintaining exterior facades.
  • Repairing and replacing plaster cornices and ceilings.
  • Managing ornate plaster repairs and redecorating wrought iron features.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A solid background in heritage and listed building restoration.
  • A proven track record in previous roles, ideally within similar sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a client-facing approach.
  • A hands-on attitude, engaging directly with projects.
  • Knowledge of JCT Contracts.
  • A background in trade, progressing into quantity surveying.
