About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Borne Resourcing Limited. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of our heritage restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of heritage restoration projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with our project managers to ensure that commercial objectives are aligned with project goals.
  • Provide commercial guidance and support to our project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, and develop strategies to minimize their impact on projects.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs and requirements, and use this knowledge to inform commercial decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a commercial role, preferably in the heritage restoration or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to contribute to the development of commercial strategies and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with commercial software and systems.
