Job Title: Policy Validator at Hastings Group

Salary: £23,500 with excellent long-term progression opportunities

Location: Hybrid 1 day in office

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Role Overview:

As a Policy Validator at Hastings Group, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the company against potential policy fraud. You will be responsible for validating customer policies, ensuring they are accurate, and identifying any misrepresentation. Your tasks will involve communicating with customers, authenticating documents, and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate a portfolio of policies within agreed timeframes
  • Review risk information efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure policies meet customer needs and have appropriate cover
  • Identify deliberate and unintentional misrepresentation
  • Service inbound and outbound calls
  • Meet service level agreements and KPIs
  • Support customers with complaints
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Data-driven and analytical approach
  • Active listening skills
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Basic understanding of Motor Insurance
  • GDPR and data protection knowledge
  • Ability to adapt to new ways of working

Desirable Skills:

  • Contact Centre service experience
  • Motor Quote to Sale and Retention journey understanding
  • Insurance industry knowledge
  • Understanding of risk profiles
