We are working with a leading construction business to recruit a Supply Chain Manager where you will lead by example and take the role to new heights. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maximising profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain management strategy
- Lead the development of contracts and bids, identifying risks and opportunities
- Manage the expansion of relationships with suppliers and partners
- Represent the business and ensure client commitments are met
- Maintain strong relationships with preferred supply chain partners
- Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance
- Provide visibility at events, communicating key supply chain and procurement activities
- Performance Management: Analyse feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports
- Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement
- Communication and Influence: Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance
- Influence supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement
Essential Experience:
- Strong knowledge of facilities management and relevant processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of various forms of contract and commercial management information
- Familiarity with COINS is desirable
- MCIPS qualified would be beneficial
- Full UK Driver's Licence
