Staff Nurse-Emergency Department Specialist

As a Staff Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Our department is a level 2 trauma unit, incorporating an Urgent Care Centre, and we serve a large and diverse population.
Main DutiesThe post holder will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, planning and implementing care programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. You will work independently and autonomously, accountable for your professional actions, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients. You will also be a key member in the development of practice on the ward.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a motivated and experienced nurse who is up-to-date with mandatory training and has a strong understanding of current clinical and professional developments. You should have experience of working in the relevant area, supervising junior staff, and coordinating shifts. You must be a Registered General Nurse on the NMC register and have evidence of continuing professional development.
