Role Overview
The Logistics Support Assistant (Stores Person) plays a crucial role in ensuring the Subway operates efficiently. This position involves organizing and assembling materials necessary for maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include utilizing inventory management systems to issue parts, processing purchase orders, and performing forklift operations, including daily inspections. Additionally, you will engage with suppliers and manage calibrated tool inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare materials for maintenance activities.
- Utilize stores management systems for inventory control.
- Conduct forklift operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain stock levels.
- Manage and oversee calibrated tools.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and possess relevant experience as a Logistics Support Assistant (Stores Person). Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with experience in forklift operations and digital stock control systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment are vital.
