About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Eco2Solar. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Goods In: Receive and store goods, load and unload vehicles, check off and return unused kit
  • FLT Safety Checks: Conduct regular safety checks on forklift trucks to ensure they are in good working order
  • Goods Out: Ensure kits are picked for installation teams and deliver stock to site when necessary
  • Stock Control: Participate in weekly and monthly stock takes, notify the Logistics Manager of shortages, and calculate consumable stock requirements
  • Facilities: Maintain a clean and presentable warehouse and grounds, ensure skips are emptied as required, and conduct daily/weekly/monthly H&S checks and relevant paperwork
  • Efficient Operations: Adhere to operational procedures, rules, and schedules to ensure smooth warehouse operations
  • Support Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating orders to ensure accuracy for pick lists
About You

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has a full driver's license
  • Has experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Is detail-oriented and takes pride in ensuring accuracy in their work
  • Is organized, with good time management and problem-solving skills
  • Is a team player with strong communication skills
  • Is committed to health and safety standards
  • Is qualified and experienced as a High Reach Forklift Truck driver (requalification training can be provided)
  • Has a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Has good organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Is computer literate
