About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Services Officer to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to engage in meaningful activities and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to a culture of care, respect, and independence, upholding the values of Shared Services Partnership.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and principles of Shared Services Partnership.
