About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our team at Signature Aviation. As a Stores Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient inventory control of aircraft parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and prioritize incoming goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Control and maintain inventory records, including stock levels and van stock records.
  • Issue stock and tooling efficiently, ensuring timely availability for maintenance operations.
  • Monitor and prevent consumable stock shortages, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Accurately record all stock movements in the networked system, ensuring data integrity.
  • Raise and manage orders from approved suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance operations, minimizing downtime and delays.
  • Facilitate parts movement between facilities and restock company vans, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and planning departments, providing updates on inventory levels and availability.
