Our Technology Risk Assurance Team
The Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) team is a key part of our Audit practice, leveraging deep technical expertise to evaluate the risks associated with technology use in various sectors. We use data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and IT and business processes, while identifying risks. Our work includes evaluating risks around emerging technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and cyber-related risks.
Your Role
As a member of our TRA team, you'll receive support to reach your potential and build your technical skills. You'll work proactively, managing your tasks, collaborating with others, and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO's Partners. You'll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders, providing long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- IT General Controls & Business Process Control experience
- Experience of integrating controls testing and data analytics into an external audit approach
- Interpreting the financial audit impact of IT risks and control weaknesses
- Cyber risk management and business resilience experience
- IT system implementation risks and controls
- IT Governance and IT Compliance Reviews
- Service Auditor Reporting
