Job Title: CSCS Landscape Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Soft Landscape Supervisor to join our team at HFN Landscapes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of soft landscape projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed, and reporting any irregularities or problems to the Contract Manager.
• Manage inventory of plants, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and stored.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage the performance of contract staff through regular meetings, briefings, and toolbox talks, addressing any employee relations issues and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports, providing detailed information on project status and any issues that need to be addressed.
• Assist the Contract Manager with financial management, including reviewing costs and expenditures to ensure budgets are met and making recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Soft Landscape Supervisor or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of horticulture, plant species, and landscape maintenance, with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of soft landscape design and management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of contract staff to deliver exceptional results.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret landscape plans and specifications, with a strong understanding of the technical and practical aspects of soft landscape design and construction.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Relevant qualifications in horticulture or landscape management are preferred, but not essential.
• CSCS card is beneficial but training can be provided for the right candidate.
