Exciting Opportunity: Senior Electronics Engineer - Development

Location: Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will play a key part in the creation and advancement of electronic hardware, collaborating with a dedicated team of electronics specialists within the R&D department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret fundamental product functional requirements and elaborate on detailed product architecture definitions provided by Project Managers/Customers.
  • Engage in electronics design and development, including simulation, schematic creation, PCB layout, and BOM generation.
  • Conduct prototype functional testing and verification.
  • Enhance and maintain existing products as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and fellow Engineers.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers when needed.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior Engineers.
  • Adhere to development processes, procedures, and specifications set by the company.
  • Ensure compliance with company ISO membership prerequisites.
  • Generate technical documentation for hardware and maintain control over electronics drawings and BOMs.
  • Participate in firmware design, improvement, and bug fixing (if applicable).
  • Create technical documentation for firmware and oversee repository control (if applicable).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated industrial experience post-graduation in a relevant area.
  • A solid grasp of analogue, digital, and embedded electronics (systems controlled by microcontrollers).
  • Proficiency in Schematic entry and PCB layout.
  • Practical electronics experience, including soldering abilities and utilization of standard lab equipment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A team player mindset with the capability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in designing for EMC and safety standards adherence.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments for firmware development (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of Firmware and hardware Version Control Systems (VCS) (if applicable).
  • Previous exposure to firmware development (if applicable).
