Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost management decisions and providing critical insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Develop and maintain robust procedures for accurate month-end direct and overhead cost accruals.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly direct costs and overheads reports, providing critical insights for financial clarity.
- Collaboration: Conduct monthly meetings with budget holders to review costs, investigate variances, and enhance cost efficiencies.
- Communication: Communicate key insights through summary narratives on monthly costs for the business leadership team.
- Project Support: Assist with ad hoc projects and investigations related to commercial performance, direct costs, stock, and overheads.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA), with a preference for experience in a manufacturing business.
- Skills: Strong influencing and teamwork skills, with the ability to drive cost management decisions. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in accounting ledgers and cost reports.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet various deadlines. Exceptional analytical skills to analyse cost information and identify anomalies.
