About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Systems Analyst to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our Energy Systems Directorate, you will play a critical role in shaping and reporting on our energy transition strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Tracking: Support the collection and tracking of performance against business plan objectives across the Energy Systems directorate, including Distribution System Operation (DSO) activities and Major Connections.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Prepare key written regulatory deliverables, effectively communicating progress and benefits delivered.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities related to DSO functions and Major Connections.
  • Regulatory Submissions: Support the production of all regulatory submissions under the responsibility of Energy Systems.
  • Management Information: Collect and report internal management information and operating control frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Planning: Develop stakeholder plans to ensure a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs and ensure alignment of messaging across stakeholder groups.
  • Communications Planning: Deliver enhanced communications plans to share progress made in DSO.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject
