About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Litigation Assistant. As a key member of our personal injury law team, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of pre-litigated cases, primarily focused on personal injury claims for our union members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial assessment of cases to determine merits and potential outcomes
  • Obtaining evidence in support of liability, including witness statements and pre-action disclosure
  • Assessing the value of claims and making decisions on disclosure
  • Attending clients, witnesses, experts, and defendants as required
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and client-focused skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of personal injury law and familiarity with Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and funding procedures
  • Understanding of case management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
