Position Overview:

We are in search of passionate and dedicated GCSE English Educators to enhance our services for the forthcoming academic term. In this role, you will be tasked with conducting customized, one-on-one, and small group tutoring sessions for students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting students from diverse educational backgrounds, both through in-person and virtual sessions.
  • Creating and executing engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs and learning preferences of each student.
  • Offering additional support to students with SEN or EHCPs, ensuring that your instructional strategies are inclusive and effective.
  • Tracking and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and modifying teaching methods as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with educators, SEN coordinators, and guardians to ensure a unified approach to each student's educational journey.
  • Encouraging and inspiring students to reach their full potential and cultivate a passion for English.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of the GCSE English curriculum.
  • Experience working with students who have SEN and/or EHCPs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to fostering student success.
  • Capability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and requirements.
