Position: Marketing Assistant (Brand Management)

Department: Sales & Marketing Division

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Direct Reports: None

Key Relationships: Sales Manager, Business Development Managers, Head of Customer Experience, Data Analytics & Systems Manager, Finance Manager.

Objective:

The primary focus of this role is on Brand Management, Public Relations, and Event Coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Awareness: Execute the annual marketing strategy to ensure our brand is the top choice among consumers and businesses in our target demographics, ensuring all initiatives align with this strategy.

Brand Management: Track brand visibility, ensuring all content adheres to brand standards while continuously promoting public awareness. Provide regular updates on progress throughout the year.

Brand Experience: Create and manage initiatives across TV, Radio, Press, Events, and Sponsorship to strengthen our brand values and market positioning.

Advertising: Oversee paid media campaigns including TV, radio, and print advertisements.

Agency Management: Efficiently manage day-to-day interactions with agencies to achieve optimal results.

Public Relations: Develop and implement a PR strategy that aligns with the Annual Marketing Plan. Supervise the PR agency to ensure effective media placements, including editorial features, thought leadership, and award submissions.

PR Capability: Ensure that senior team members are trained in PR and available for media inquiries related to their areas of expertise.

Campaign Coordination: Work collaboratively with the marketing team to bring brand and PR components of campaigns from concept to successful execution.

Event Coordination: Manage all aspects of live events, both in-person and virtual, including trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Ensure timely completion of all tasks to meet objectives outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.

Budget Management: Monitor and manage all expenditures to assess return on investment.

Reporting & Analysis: Analyze performance data and prepare reports for stakeholders, clearly illustrating progress and alignment with marketing strategies.

KPI's/Outputs:

  • Tracking brand awareness and recognition
  • Demonstrating ROI for advertising efforts
  • Ensuring consistent brand presentation across all platforms

Qualifications/Skills:

Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.

Experience in media advertising, PR, and event management.

Additional Information:

This position offers hybrid working options, subject to managerial approval. Some travel may be necessary for events.

Essential Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing experience, either client-side or agency-side.

Proven experience in managing external agencies and budget oversight.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of renewable energy and experience in marketing planning and activity management.
