The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a mixed-ability class of children in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
Requirements:
  • QTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner.
