Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Transport Manager to join our team at JRL Group Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing our HGV fleet and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transportation team to optimize fleet utilization and reduce costs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce carbon emissions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including drivers, customers, and suppliers

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in a similar logistics role
  • Experience of managing HGV fleet and operators' licenses
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and fleet management software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Transport Manager CPC National/International qualification

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
