About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Malton. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, working closely with production schedules and sales orders.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire logistics process, from order fulfillment to shipment coordination. This includes maintaining import and export documentation, arranging transportation, and preparing necessary paperwork such as delivery notes, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the import and export documentation process, ensuring accurate record-keeping for Inward Processing Relief.
  • Coordinate the shipping of goods to a diverse customer base, both domestically and internationally.
  • Supervise the safe and efficient packing of goods to guarantee their arrival in pristine condition.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including delivery notes, commercial invoices, packing lists, and any other contract-specific requirements.
  • Arrange transportation according to sales order instructions and customer specifications, adhering to agreed-upon Incoterms.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment readiness and provide timely updates to customer service and relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all QHSE procedures within your scope of work.
  • Ensure products comply with ISO9001, ISO14001, and the RMSpumptools Quality Management System through meticulous working practices.
  • Promote waste recycling initiatives wherever possible.
  • Maintain a safe and controlled work environment for yourself and those around you.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
