Salary: £45,000 to £48,000

Overview:
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. This role is ideal for candidates with engineering expertise in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and effectively to equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the designated production area.
  • Accurately document all breakdown incidents and equipment status using established systems.
  • Develop familiarity with all machinery operations, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to engineering inventory protocols and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively within a shift structure to guarantee technical support at all times.
  • Provide additional overtime coverage for absences, maintenance shutdowns, and projects as required.
  • Monitor production machinery and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.

Qualifications:
Completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Proven experience in a similar industrial setting.

Qualification in ONC or equivalent.
