Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Care Professional to provide one-to-one relationship-led care to a client living in a beautiful rural location in Kent. As a Live In Care Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our client and be part of a supportive and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to the client, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Support the client with their hobbies and interests, such as walking and gardening.
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with household chores.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with dementia or other complex care needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (desirable).

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Double time on bank holidays.
  • 10-hour average hours contract with 2-hour break per day.
  • 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.
  • Travel expenses to client address.
  • Food provided by client.
