Job Title: Curriculum Manager – Vocational Training

Salary: Up to £40,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Manager to join our team in North Yorkshire. As a Curriculum Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our clients vocational training programs – this could include construction, electrical, hospitality and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop vocational programs, ensuring the curriculum meets industry standards and is tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  2. Support and lead a team of Vocational Tutors.
  3. Take a lead on quality assurance and improvement for vocational programs, as well as assisting other Managers within the centre in preparation for SAR and QIP.
  4. Ensure high standards of teaching and learning, evaluating the effectiveness of delivery, and adapt if needed.
  5. Measure learner progress, achievement and retention.
  6. Keep up to date with current learning technologies, education trends and changes in vocational standards.
  7. Work closely with the wider team – Assessors, IQA's / EQA's etc, to ensure delivery meets awarding body requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Must hold a first degree and/or professional qualification.
  2. Must hold a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  3. Experience of Curriculum development/management, ensuring that quality systems and processes are in place to maximise learner outcomes.
  4. Strong background in vocational education / training.
  5. Ideally have experience in managing / leading a team.
  6. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
