We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients Department at Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in the management and leadership of our team, providing individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Outpatients Manager in the management and leadership of the team
- Carry out individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards
- Chaperone and assist Consultants during examination of patients and minor surgical procedures
- Assist in arranging investigations requested by Consultants
- Carry out risk assessments and Datix investigations
- Develop own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security
- Assist in maintaining and developing services
- Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years registration experience
- NMC registered, with no restrictions or conditions
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration
- Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
- Strong Assessment skills
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate
- Efficient with workload
- Experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable
