Our client, a leading international food and agri-related manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their team in the UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all machinery within the plant, including preventative and planned maintenance programs, and will work closely with the production manager to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, fabrication, and installation of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using a logical approach and electrical drawings.
  • Work with instrumentation, PLCs, and inverters to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a production plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including instrumentation and PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
