The Role
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to provide outstanding service to our clients by overseeing our field teams and contractors. You will serve as the primary contact on-site, assisting project managers to ensure seamless execution and high-quality outcomes from inception to completion.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supervise internal personnel and subcontractors in the execution of on-site tasks related to new electricity connections.
- Ensure that all operations comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
- Verify that all work meets the required IDNO, DNO, and client specifications.
- Conduct on-site safety reporting and quality audits, addressing any project nonconformities.
- Organize and manage staff to optimize productivity.
- Engage with clients, site managers, and stakeholders regarding the scheduling and management of both on-site and off-site activities.
Requirements
Upon joining, you will undergo a comprehensive induction and onboarding process, with opportunities for further development through our in-house training academy.
To be successful, you should have:
- A proven track record in reviewing work instructions, risk assessments, and method statements for craft teams.
- Experience ensuring that on-site safety documentation is completed, verified, and approved according to Sinewave's processes and key performance indicators.
- Ability to liaise with Sinewave's technical teams and project managers as necessary.
- Experience managing project materials in accordance with Sinewave's procedures.
- Strong communication skills to regularly update key stakeholders and provide reports as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full UK driving license (maximum of 3 points).
- Experience in site supervision within the utilities distribution sector.
- SMSTS certification.
- EUSR Shea Power or equivalent.
- Emergency First Aid certification.
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
- Project management experience.
