We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Support Worker to join our team at Community Integrated Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

About the Role

You will be supporting one individual with complex needs, who is interested in walking, shopping, and meeting new people. They are very house proud and would love to receive support in building positive relationships. At other times, they prefer a quiet environment and their own space.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a health or social care setting, who has an upbeat and positive manner, and a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.

Requirements
  • A Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in mental health, autism, and sensory communication
  • Physical health experience
  • Ability to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently
  • Brilliant mentoring skills and ability to share your skills and experiences with colleagues
