Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recovery Practitioner to join our team. As a Recovery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing psychosocial treatments to service users on an initial temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Assist clients when they enter the programme and proceed with their therapy or recuperation.
  • Screening and Evaluation: Offer screening, evaluation, planning for recovery, and subsequent referral.
  • Substance Misuse Reduction: Minimise the harm that drugs and alcohol do to clients and the larger community.
  • Advocacy: Act as an advocate for partnership service access.
  • Social Integration: Assist service users with their social (re)integration so they can live meaningful lives by encouraging self-determination, resilience, recovery, and peer support.
  • Group Information Sessions: Provide service users in group settings with structured information at different phases of their recovery.

Requirements:

  • Substance Misuse Awareness: Possess a thorough awareness of substance misuse issues or have previous experience working in a related field.
  • Mental Health Expertise: Possess a solid working understanding of mental health services, interventions, and best practices.
  • Change Management: Capacity to successfully manage change while putting the interests of service users first.
  • Information Governance: Recognise the significance of information governance procedures and pledge to adhere to and implement all required safety measures.
