About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As a Careers Consultant, you will work intensively with a caseload of young people seeking employment, training, or education opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing productive professional relationships with young people with multiple barriers and supporting their progression.
- Providing bespoke approaches to meet the needs of each young person, including developing employability activities and accreditations.
- Securing on-site EET outcomes, such as traineeships and qualified careers guidance.
- Providing an agile service that adapts to the changing needs of NEET young people in Harrow.
- Supporting young people to sustain their education or training outcomes.
- Using data analysis to effectively target resources and support.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- The ability to work with young people with multiple barriers and support their progression.
- Level 6 IAG or working towards.
- Experience of working with young people providing IAG.
- Experience of liaising with and working in educational institutions and other stakeholders to identify young people who are at risk of or NEET.
- The ability to work flexibly, including working some evenings and Saturdays.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet contract KPIs.
