About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Careers Consultant to join our dedicated UCL School of Management Careers Team. As a Careers Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the career development of our postgraduate taught students, who are a highly international and diverse group studying subjects including MSc Finance, MSc Management, and MSc Business Analytics.
Your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver a comprehensive Careers and Professional Development Programme, which includes a mix of workshops, seminars, one-to-one coaching, and application support. You will work closely with our students to understand their career aspirations and provide personalized guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
In addition to your work with students, you will also collaborate with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships that support the delivery of our Careers and Professional Development Programme.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about coaching and mentoring, and has experience of supporting the career development of others. Knowledge of one or more of our students' top sectors of interest (Management Consulting, Finance, Technology) is advantageous.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support to our students.
What We Offer
