We are seeking a Quality Auditor to enhance our operations in Spalding, Lincolnshire, working on a continental day shift schedule.
As a Quality Auditor, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products consistently adhere to the high standards expected by our clientele. Your role will be pivotal in reducing waste and upholding our esteemed reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assessments to ensure all products align with customer specifications.
- Monitor production processes, identify quality discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to minimize waste.
- Maintain precise quality control documentation and perform shelf-life evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with packhouse protocols and verify label accuracy.
- Assist in training personnel on product grading methodologies.
- Carry out regular equipment calibrations and conduct hygiene, HACCP, and food safety audits.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations established by the company.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a food production setting.
- Familiarity with quality control principles and practices in the fresh produce sector.
- Experience in conducting audits and inspections is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles is also beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively address quality challenges.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
