About the RoleAs a Trainer/Assessor in Forklift Maintenance, you will be responsible for delivering programs, writing block reports, monitoring apprentice progress, and contacting future employers. You will also be visiting workplaces to ensure everything is in place and everyone is happy during apprenticeships. This is a days-based position based in the main workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver programs and training to students

- Contact future employers and ensure a smooth transition for apprentices
- Visit workplaces to ensure everything is in place and everyone is happy
We are looking for a candidate with a background in motor vehicle mechanics, agricultural mechanics, HGV mechanics, or forklift mechanics. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team. A strong understanding of the apprenticeship program and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances are also essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £36,000, plus a potential £6,000 starting bonus. You will also receive a 23% pension from the employer, 37 hours a week, and 40 days of holiday. We offer a flexible work environment and potential for hybrid working.
