Position Overview

The Electrical Assembler will be tasked with producing a range of electrical components according to production schedules and work order specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly process, utilizing appropriate tools to create wiring harnesses, control panels, and various electrical components. Additionally, ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards and are completed in a timely manner is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate electrical components in accordance with production timelines.
  • Adhere strictly to work orders.
  • Ensure parts are manufactured to precise specifications based on technical drawings and work orders.
  • Report any quality concerns to the supervisor and technical team.
  • Perform rework as necessary.
  • Verify that finished components are properly organized.
  • Confirm that completed work orders are accurately checked and recorded.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and reorder as needed.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Share expertise with fellow team members.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
  • Execute tasks in compliance with health and safety regulations and notify supervisors of any potential hazards.
  • Log operations in accordance with company policies.
  • Comply with relevant ISO/QMS procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficient use of hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of the vehicle conversion process is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in work approach.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical specifications.
  • Capability to install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Hours

This role features a 4-day work week:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 6am to 4pm
  • Thursday: 6am to 3pm
  • Overtime available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Compensation

The position offers a competitive starting salary.
