Maintenance Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Manager to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient operation of our automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the activities of your shift team, ensuring effective planning and organisation
- Train, coach, and mentor your shift team to improve performance and reliability
- Perform analysis of data sources to maintain and improve performance, maximising efficiency of operation in line with KPIs
- Champion safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Carry out maintenance and servicing of all onsite automated equipment, including planned repairs and reactive repairs
- Respond to automation faults and breakdowns in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime
- Actively work to optimise automation performance and complete all reports in line with requirements
- Support service tracking and analysis of error rates, assisting in the production of corrective action plans
- Lead the shift handover meeting and support other site meetings as required
Requirements
- Prior experience in a leadership position within automation
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with technical and non-technical staff
- An inspirational leader who can coach and mentor their team to success
