Maintenance Operations Manager

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance support functions of our warehouse automation system. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the MHE, developing and improving the support team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support our warehousing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance professionals, including training manager, reliability manager, CMMS specialist, maintenance planner, and stores team.
- Foster a culture of safety, team training, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Set performance goals in line with business OKRs and conduct regular performance reviews along with 1-2-1s.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure all warehouse equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
- Manage the maintenance department budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Flow room, and facilities, to support overall warehouse performance.
- Communicate maintenance plans, progress, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven history of developing and managing maintenance programs and teams.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant technology.
