We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on the role of Safety and Compliance Coordinator, ensuring the health and safety of our members and staff. As a prominent name in the fitness industry, JD Gyms Group prioritizes a secure environment for everyone involved. In this position, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing robust strategies to uphold safety standards across our gym locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and enhance health and safety protocols in line with company objectives
  • Establish and uphold policies to guarantee adherence to safety regulations
  • Provide training and resources to empower managers and team members
  • Oversee compliance and perform audits at all gym locations
  • Develop effective response strategies for incidents and implement corrective measures
  • Examine safety metrics to pinpoint trends and opportunities for enhancement
  • Engage with stakeholders and regulatory authorities
  • Create and sustain emergency preparedness plans

Required Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in health and safety management within the fitness sector
  • Demonstrated success in formulating effective safety strategies
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and IT capabilities
  • A genuine passion for health and safety with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK
